The BFC race committee has made improvements and added some cool new things for 2014, including:
- A new and improved Active.com interface that allows you to create and join teams, edit your registration (switch categories, etc.) and transfer your registration.
- Jersey & Tee Design Contest. Submit your designs and they could appear on the BFC 2014 Jersey and Tee! Details to follow.
- Video & Photo contest. Submit your best BFC photos and videos and we’ll use them to promote the race – and give you full credit of course. Details to follow.
- Sunday BFC Mountain Bike Rodeo & Races. Favorites from the old Adirondack Mountain Bike Festival are back! Rodeo events, kids races, hill climb, circuit race. Check them out here.

Help make mountain biking better in the West Central Adirondacks. We are looking for people interested in starting a new bike club in this area.
The West Central Adirondacks have some of the best mountain biking opportunities in the Easter U.S. and there are a lot of good things happening here.
We have been in conversations with IMBA and the New York State DEC and APA about local mountain bike trails and we have had people out working on trails.
It is time to get organized and build on the momentum! Come join us on Saturday October 19, for a group ride followed by an organizational meeting to discuss the new bike club. Read more…
Pedals and Petals will join Trek dealers across the nation to host the 6th annual Trek Womens Breast Cancer Awareness Ride on Saturday, October 12. Everyone is welcome to participate in either a family friendly group ride offering an 11.6 mile loop or a 20.8 mile loop. We will be leaving from Pedals & Petals at 10AM and riding down the scenic South Shore Road. There will be raffles, giveaways, food and beverages!
